COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION
Community Founders
Each community should start with a small group of founders that offer resources and services essential to the formation, growth, and have a vested interest in the success of that community. A total of three Founders is recommended. As land is the most expensive initial expense, it is recommended that one of the Founders be a farmer or other land owner that can provide the land necessary, and another Founder be a contractor capable of constructing the houses and infrastructure for the creation of the community.
Specialist Recruitment
At each phase of expansion new specialization will be required, such as farming , animal husbandry, entrepreneurial business creation and management, various trades, mechanics, power generation, technology, etc.
Neighborhoods
Each Community will consist of neighborhoods by street, built in phases, and led by a rotating neighborhood leader and grouped under one of the Founders. Sociology studies indicates that well regulated social hierarchies should consist of 100 or less families, limiting the size of the Community.
Rotational Leadership
Founders are permanent, and Neighborhood Leaders serve on a rotational basis to handle administrative matters and facilitate meetings for Community decisions. Situations will arise that require specialized knowledge; in these instances the Community will choose one or more members to serve as the experts for that matter in order to ensure that the needs of the Community are most effectively met.
Member Consent and Removal
The Founders will adopt a Community charter that outlines the values of the Community, the duties of members to the Community and each other, and the list of offenses that will result in the expulsion of a member from the Community. In general each Member family must buy into the Community and if it becomes necessary to leave the community under honorable circumstances, that buy-in is to be returned to that family. Any changes to the charter must be voted unanimously by the vested Members.
